Most of my college work has centered around writing. I've written for class and for fun, some I have turned in and shared, some I have not. From press releases to blogs, here are some of the pieces I've done in the past few years.
PR Writing
Press release writing is a staple of being a PR major, and it's a skill I'm glad I have. This is a press release I did for a class project, so it was not actually used, but it was based off a real event I was helping to promote for my internship at BarChurch through the Gathering.
Blogging

Blog writing is something that I have come to love. I always got a little too excited when a requirement for a class I was in required a blog. I love the personal tone that can be taken on in a blog. This blog was one I kept for my MultiPlatform Journalism class. I no longer post here, but it contains both my writing and my thoughts and views on journalism and story telling logistics.

While I was studying abroad in Madrid, Spain my sophomore year, I kept a blog. This was a more personal writing experience, as I was hoping to archive my experience and share what I was learning real time. This blog is more causal in style, but my parents friends still rave about it, so that has to mean something, right?
Studying abroad changed my outlook on and posture towards a lot of things. It was a huge blessing and an incredible experience. If not for the writing.
