It's hard to quantify ministry. I don't think it's supposed to be measured the same way that other things are. For the sake of explanation though, here are a few of the more tangible examples of the kinds of work I have done, and plan on doing more of, in ministry.

CIT Bible Study

One of the many pieces of directing the high school age staff at camp is writing and leading their bible studies. Summer 2016, I focused on the theme of celebration, and focused the study on the spiritual discipline of celebration, the joy in clinging to the gospel and what that means relationally and spiritually. I loved writing and leading this study. Creating and leading bible studies is something I love, and desire to be a part of the ministry I do.

These buttons will send you to the materials I gave to the young women I was working with to use during the hour long bible studies.

Public Speaking and Sermon Giving

My internship and work at BarChurch and my summers at camp have given me many opportunities for public speaking as well as talk and sermon writing and giving.

From presenting the gospel to 300 campers and staff people, to unpacking Moses'  journey for a deeper understanding of celebrating calling on the patio of a bar.

There are so many pieces about creating a talk, and knowing it well enough to confidently share it. It takes a boldness- one that I long to continue working on.
